45% of British employees currently working from home feel that they are not being given all of the resources they need to work from home safely and effectively according to our survey.
In the largest survey of its kind in Britain, we asked 1,983 employees, working from home all or most of the time, if they had all of the resources that they need.
Almost half of employees surveyed (45%) said that their employer is not always providing all of the necessary resources that they need to work from home. These resources include a laptop or desktop, software applications, access to data and documents.
Those working for SMEs (50%) or working from home for the first time (49%) are the most affected and are having to provide their own resources to cope with the demands of homeworking.
Analysing the survey responses in further detail provides insights that managers will find useful when engaging with their staff and supporting them to work from home successfully.
